TOM has released our latest ranking of the top 100 wrestlers in the class of 2018. With their final high school seasons in the books, these seniors have mostly chosen where they continue their careers on the mat this fall. While there are still plenty of high profile events that will see some of these men compete and could shake up the rankings, now seems like a good time to check in on where the top 100 are planning to go. We’ve known for some time that Penn State has another incredible group set to become Nittany Lions, but where do they stack up with everyone chasing them? We’ll look at a table listing every school that currently has a commitment from a top 100 senior, then break down the top five classes right now as we near the start of the next signing period.
There are plenty of different ways to sort recruiting classes, but the simplest for this examination of the top 100 is to order the schools by the number of their prospects on the list. To provide further context, we’ll break the wrestlers out by rank looking at the top 20, 21-40, 41-60, 61-80, and 81-100 for each school. Here is what that looks like:
